My name is Ian Bourn. Welcome to my online CV and online virtual business card.

I have been designing websites and online forums/bulletin boards for close on 20 years I live in the UK with my fabulous family and enjoy spending my free time with them. I set up one of the first online sites for a UK based nightclub in Brighton for the Grand Hotel - "Midnight Blues". It used, at the time, groundbreaking interactivity and functions. I also put together one of the webs first anti-bullying websites in association with AMICUS ( now unite).

UPDATED for 2012! I have added some samples of my work to a portfolio page accessed from the work icon in the navigation. This selection will be updated as new sites start to spring up.

Ian Bourn - About Me

I consider myself capable of implementing a web site from start to finish, and so do my customers. I can follow an outline or use my own initiative, experience and resources and deliver top class results.

I have acquired the skill of coding HTML/XHTML/CSS/JAVA during my 20 years of experience. I design websites using a variety of methods such as layout in Photoshop, slice it and hand-code in various publishing programmes such as Dreamweaver. I’m very responsive to my client’s feedback and suggestions throughout both the design and development stages. I deliver to the client’s full satisfaction. My present role involves intranet and communications design for a large UK based life assurance company.
